Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon + 1 tsp Somethin' To Taco Bout
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 corn taco shells
  • 4 ounces of your favorite cheese (cotija, colby jack, cheddar)
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, sliced
  • 1 lime, quartered
  • Your favorite Hot Sauce (optional)

Directions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of Somethin' To Taco Bout. Let the spice blend bloom in the oil for about minute, stirring constantly.
  2. Add the beef and mix to combine. Let the beef cook until brown and crumbly, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add 1 tbsp of water and the teaspoon of Somethin' To Taco Bout. Stir to combine.
  4. Reduce the heat to a simmer and allow to thicken, stirring occasionally.
  5. Take this time to prepare the additions to the tacos - shred your lettuce, dice your tomatoes, slice your jalapenos.
  6. Build your taco by placing the lettuce, tomato and jalapenos in the shell, followed by a helping of the taco meat and cheese. Finish with a dash of hot sauce and a squeeze of lime. Enjoy!
