Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon + 1 tsp Somethin' To Taco Bout
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 6 corn taco shells
- 4 ounces of your favorite cheese (cotija, colby jack, cheddar)
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 jalapeno, sliced
- 1 lime, quartered
- Your favorite Hot Sauce (optional)
Directions
- In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of Somethin' To Taco Bout. Let the spice blend bloom in the oil for about minute, stirring constantly.
- Add the beef and mix to combine. Let the beef cook until brown and crumbly, stirring occasionally.
- Add 1 tbsp of water and the teaspoon of Somethin' To Taco Bout. Stir to combine.
- Reduce the heat to a simmer and allow to thicken, stirring occasionally.
- Take this time to prepare the additions to the tacos - shred your lettuce, dice your tomatoes, slice your jalapenos.
- Build your taco by placing the lettuce, tomato and jalapenos in the shell, followed by a helping of the taco meat and cheese. Finish with a dash of hot sauce and a squeeze of lime. Enjoy!
