Summer is for grilling.
Summer is for fruit.
Barbecue is forever.
Nothing says Summer more than grilled pineapple with a barbecue rub!
This sweet and spicy bite has everything to knock the socks off your taste buds, so the next time you grill out, grill some pineapple!

Directions
Slice the pineapple, removing the top and the skin.
I prefer to slice the pineapple into strips and remove the core using an angle cut. You could just as easily core the pineapple using one of those fancy tools and cut this into rounds.
Coat the pineapple in our Somethin’ To Cry About spice blend. Use as much or as little as you want to achieve the spice level you desire. Your Mileage May Vary (YMMV)
Cook the pineapple on a grill over high heat for approximately 3 to 5 minutes per side. You are looking for a good caramelization, not burnt sugars.
Let rest and serve with something to cool that burn, such as vanilla ice cream!

Recipe Note
I was a little heavy handed with the spice blend on this. That heat creep is no joke but is so good!
