Tacos are an icon for a reason and we get asked all the time for both mundane and creative ways to use our zesty taco seasoning - Somethin’ To Taco Bout. It’s packed with deep, savory Mexican flavors that go way beyond the tortilla. From classic uses to out-of-the-box culinary creations, we’re here to help you unleash its full potential.

The Classic Method: Perfectly Seasoned Taco Meat

Let’s start with the OG move — taco meat. Whether you’re cooking for a crowd or whipping up a quick weeknight dinner, Somethin’ To Taco Bout makes it easy to nail that bold, well-rounded flavor every single time.

The Quick Recipe:

  • In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of Somethin' To Taco Bout. Let the spice blend bloom in the oil for about a minute, stirring constantly.
  • Add 1 lb of ground meat (beef, turkey, chicken - whatever you love) and mix to combine. Let the protein cook until brown and crumbly, stirring occasionally.
  • Add 1 tbsp of water and a teaspoon of Somethin' To Taco Bout. Stir to combine.
  • Reduce the heat to a simmer and allow to thicken, stirring occasionally.
